Claiming a Tennessee Lottery prize is simple. A winning ticket must be presented in order to receive your prize.
- Any prize with a value of less than $600, including free tickets, can be claimed at any participating retailer or Lottery district office or by mail (see below).
- Instant ticket prizes ranging from $600 to $199,999 must be claimed at any of the Tennessee Lottery's district offices including the Lottery's headquarters.
- Powerball prizes with a value less than $99,999 may be claimed at any of the Tennessee Lottery’s district offices, including the Lottery's headquarters.
- Powerball prizes with a value of $99,999 or above must be claimed at the Lottery headquarters in Nashville.
- All other Tennessee Lottery prizes with a value of $200,000 or above must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Nashville.
- Tickets for Powerball, LOTTO PLUS, PICK 5, CASH 4 and CASH 3 must be redeemed within 180 days of the drawing for which the ticket was purchased. Instant tickets must be redeemed within 90 days of the official end of game date.
- For claims over $599, you will be required to produce a valid ID to verify your name, current address, and Social Security number*.

For claims made by mail for prizes less than $600 a claim form is not required. If you are mailing your claim without a claim form, please sign back of ticket and include name and address either on the ticket or on a separate piece of paper.
Claims made by mail for prizes of $600 or above must be submitted on a completed claim form. A copy of a valid ID and proof of Social Security number such as a photocopy of the winner’s Social Security card, pay stub, etc., must be included. The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation is not responsible for tickets which are lost, damaged or delayed by the U.S. Postal Service or any other carrier. You can obtain a claim form at any Lottery retailer* or by calling Player Services at (877) 7TN-PLAY (786-7529) or 254-4946 in the Nashville calling area. Outside of Tennessee, call 615-254-4946.
