POWERBALL JACKPOT AT $41 MILLION FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE DRAWING
The Powerball jackpot continues to climb and is estimated at $41 million for the next drawing on Saturday, December 31. Although no player matched all six numbers correctly in Wednesday night’s drawing, there were 22,321 winners who purchased tickets from retailers in the state of Tennessee. By selecting the Power Play option, 5,316 players multiplied their winnings by three.

POWERBALL & LOTTO 5 JACKPOTS CONTINUE TO GROW;$800,000 Memphis PB ticket still unclaimed
As the Powerball jackpot climbs to $30 million for Wednesday’s drawing, an $800,000 winning Powerball ticket sold in Memphis remains unclaimed. As with all of the Tennessee Lottery’s computerized games, players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. According to state law, once prizes are officially unclaimed, half of the money goes to after-school programs; the other half will be used to offset future prize expenses.
