NASHVILLE - A Mega Millions player in Hardin County certainly has the “luck of the Irish” this St. Patrick’s day after winning $250,000 from the March 16 drawing! The ticket, purchased in Savannah, matched all 5 white balls to give the player the big win. No additional information is available until the player redeems the prize.

Meanwhile, jackpots continue to grow for the Tennessee Lottery's other drawing-style games. The jackpot for Friday’s PICK 5 drawing now stands at $100,000 while the grand prize for POWERBALL has grown to $20 million for Saturday night’s drawing.

About the Tennessee Education Lottery
The Tennessee Education Lottery operates entirely from the revenue it generates through the sale of its products. Net proceeds from sales of Lottery tickets, currently averaging over $5 million per week, fund specific education programs, including college scholarships, pre-kindergarten and after-school programs. Since the Tennessee Lottery began selling tickets on Jan. 20, 2004, it has raised more than $1.6 billion for these programs, and returned to Tennessee communities nearly $3.6 billion in prizes and nearly $393 million in retailer commissions.
