Three co-workers from E. Tenn. celebrate their win!

James Dodson, of Dandridge, had to call his co-worker Jeremy Jones 19 times before he reached him with incredible news—they won $200,000 playing Powerball! The pair, along with a third co-worker, Lisa Pike, have been chipping in together to play Powerball for more than two years. They say their hopes have paid off with the big win, which came after Wednesday night’s drawing.
The friends work at Sea Ray of Knoxville and purchased the winning ticket at Fastop #11 in Dandridge. Congratulations to all!

Since the Tennessee Lottery began selling tickets on Jan. 20, 2004, it has raised more than $1.1 billion to fund specific education programs, including college scholarships, pre-kindergarten and after-school programs.
