Three Tennessee Lottery winners and their guests are jetting off to Chicago today for a weekend of fun, headlined by a manic 90-second shopping spree for up to $15,000 worth of merchandise in a warehouse full of household goods, electronics and more.
The winners, from Deerlodge (Morgan County), Elizabethton (Carter County) and Holladay (Benton County) won the trip and “Warehouse Dash” by entering eligible tickets into a special VIP Players Suite® * Lottery promotion held this summer.
Dennise Durham of Deerlodge is taking her husband as part of their 23rd wedding anniversary. “I can’t wait! I’m going to try to get anything and everything!” she said about the warehouse shopping spree. Topping her wish list is a notebook computer and a leaf blower—just in time to clean up the fall leaves. Her strategy? “I’m going to grab and he’s going to push the cart,” said Dennise.
Other winners are Dennis Hardin of Elizabethton and Shelby Carrington of Holladay. In addition to the 90-second Dash in the prize-laden warehouse, the winning packages include:
• Round-trip coach airfare for two (2) to Chicago, IL
• 3 days/2 nights accommodations for winner and a guest
• Ground transportation provided between destination airport, hotel and Dash event
• Hosted welcome dinner for winners and guests
• $500 spending cash
• Commemorative video of event
The VIP Players Suite® is a popular affinity program that allows Tennessee Lottery players to play games, enter drawings and earn points they can redeem for a wide-range of merchandise.
