NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Lottery’s newest instant games could mean an “Instant Payday” for some, while others have a chance to pocket a “Quick 50.” Retailers across the state added the games to their current selections on April 13, giving lottery enthusiasts even more to choose from.

Details about the latest instant ticket games include:

Quick 50, a green $1 ticket that resembles a $50 bill, is a game in which players can win up to $550 instantly. Get three like amounts, win that amount. Get a “bill” symbol in the Bonus Box, and win $50 instantly. Overall odds are 1 in 4.24.

Instant Payday, a blue and red $2 ticket, is a game in which players can win up to $20,000 instantly. Match any of your numbers to either winning number, win prize shown for that number. Get a “win” symbol, and win $50 instantly. Overall odds are 1 in 4.10.

“Enthusiasm for our instant tickets continues,” said Rebecca Paul, CEO and president of the Tennessee Lottery. “Even as we gear up for the launch of Powerball on April 19, players and retailers continue to focus on the fun and variety of these games.”

Total Lottery ticket sales, including the online Cash 3 game, were approximately $255 million as of midnight, April 11.

All Tennessee Lottery profits will go to education programs. Most immediately, the Lottery is charged with raising at least $88 million by July 1 in order to fund scholarships for an estimated 65,000 students expected to attend Tennessee colleges and universities next fall.
