NASHVILLE - The Powerball and Lotto 5 jackpots grow once more for the weekend drawings of these two popular games. Powerball grows to an estimated $62 million for its next drawing on Saturday, November 3 and Lotto 5 reaches an estimated $310,000 for its drawing on Friday, November 2.

Powerball and Lotto 5 drawings Wednesday night created over 27,000 winners. By choosing the Power Play option, over 6,500 of the Powerball winners doubled their prize.

And don’t miss out on Million $ Madness, a raffle-style game that will award four prizes of $1 million each on January 22, 2008! The first of seven early bird drawings is Friday, November 9, so the sooner players purchase a ticket, the more chances they have to win. Tickets are on sale now at all Lottery retailers.

Lotto 5 drawings are broadcast Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 10:34 p.m. CT (11:34 p.m. ET); Powerball drawings are broadcast Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. CT (10:59 p.m. ET). Drawings are broadcast every night at 6:28 p.m. CT (7:28 p.m. ET) and at midday at 12:28 p.m. CT (1:28 p.m. ET) Monday through Saturday for the Tennessee Lottery’s other two online games, CASH 3 and CASH 4.

The Tennessee Lottery began selling its first tickets on January 20, 2004. As of September 30, 2007, the Lottery has raised more than $987 million to fund specific education programs, including college scholarships, pre-kindergarten and after-school programs.
