NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Lottery’s newest instant game “Super Blackjack” means even more exciting options for lottery fans. Lottery retailers across the state added the new instant game to their current instant game selections this week.

Super Blackjack offers players the chance to instantly win up to $30,000 and each Super Blackjack $2 ticket gives players up to 10 opportunities to win. The game is played by scratching off the “dealer’s hand” to reveal the dealer’s cards. Then a player scratches off each of his/her 10 hands. If one of “your hands” adds up to more than the “dealer’s hand,” you win the prize shown for that hand! Aces are worth 11, and Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10.

The number 21 is also a winning combination in the new instant game Super Blackjack. If any of “your hands” totals 21, you instantly win 5 times the prize shown for that hand. Overall odds for the game are 1 in 3.97.

The Tennessee Lottery began selling its first instant tickets on Jan. 20, 2004. As of Oct. 15, the Lottery had transferred more than $174 million to the Tennessee Lottery for Education account, as well as more than $2 million for after-school programs. All Lottery profits will go to pay for specific education programs in Tennessee, which initially include HOPE Scholarships.
