NASHVILLE - Over 30,000 winners were created in Tennessee after this weekend’s drawings of Lotto 5 and Powerball. The jackpots for the two popular games will roll for this week, with Lotto 5 at an estimated $400,000 for Monday night’s draw and Powerball at an estimated $71 million for Wednesday night’s draw.
Last night’s Powerball drawing produced 28,512 winners in Tennessee, with 6,917 of them doubling their prize, thanks to the Power Play option. In Lotto 5, Friday night's drawing produced 1,888 winners, including 43 players who won $287 each.
And don’t miss out on Million $ Madness, a raffle-style game that will award four prizes of $1 million each on January 22, 2008! The first of seven early bird drawings is Friday, November 9, so the sooner players purchase a ticket, the more chances they have to win. Tickets are on sale now at all Lottery retailers.
