NASHVILLE - Tennessee’s Powerball game on Saturday produced 20,736 winners, including 4,499 winners who tripled their prize by playing the Power Play. Meanwhile, Friday's Lotto 5 drawing produced 35 winners who won $241 each and another 1,368 winners who won $10 each.

Jackpots for both games continue to grow; the jackpot for the next Powerball drawing on Wednesday, April 13 is estimated at $25 million, while the jackpot for the next Lotto 5 drawing on Monday, April 11 is estimated at $95,000.

The Tennessee Lottery began selling its first instant tickets on January 20, 2004. Proceeds as of December 31, 2004 have resulted in transfers to the Lottery for Education Account of $231.2 million, in addition to more than $2 million for after-school programs. All Lottery profits will go to pay for specific education programs in Tennessee, which initially include HOPE Scholarships.
