NASHVILLE - Tennessee’s Lotto 5 jackpot continues to climb and is estimated at $515,000 for the next drawing on Friday, July 1. Wednesday night’s Lotto 5 drawing produced 1,990 winners throughout the state including 60 players who won $193 each, and 1,930 players who won $9 each.
Tennessee’s Powerball game on Wednesday produced 20,029 winners who purchased tickets from retailers in the state, including one $100,000 winning ticket sold in New Market (Jefferson County). By selecting the Power Play option, 4,095 players multiplied their winnings by five. There was one winner in the state of West Virginia for last night’s $10 million grand prize. The Powerball jackpot for the next drawing on Saturday, July 2 is estimated at $10 million.

Proceeds as of March 31, 2005 have resulted in transfers to the Lottery for Education Account of more than $291 million, in addition to more than $2 million for after-school programs.
