NASHVILLE - Last night’s Powerball drawing produced 25,351 winners who purchased tickets in Tennessee as the jackpot continues to climb—now estimated at $23 million for Wednesday’s drawing. Of those players, 5,185 quintupled their prize by using the Power Play option.
There was no jackpot winner from Friday night’s Lotto 5 drawing, but 44 players won $193 each, while another 1,194 players won $11 each. The Lotto 5 jackpot for Monday’s drawing is estimated at $120,000.

Lotto 5 drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 10:34 p.m. CST (11:34 p.m. EST); Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. CST (10:59 p.m. EST). Watch for both drawings on official Tennessee Lottery television stations throughout the state.

Proceeds as of March 31, 2005 have resulted in transfers to the Lottery for Education Account of more than $291 million, in addition to more than $2 million for after-school programs.
