NASHVILLE - Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing produced a $151.9 million jackpot winner in Rhode Island. In addition, over 38,000 winning tickets were sold in Tennessee, with over 8,000 of those winners multiplying their prize by three, thanks to the Power Play option.
In other news, the Lotto 5 jackpot hits $250,000 for the next drawing on Friday, November 30. Last night’s drawing produced 1,448 winners, including 43 players who each won $218.
And early-bird drawings continue for Million $ Madness, a raffle-style game that will award four prizes of $1 million each on January 22, 2008. The fourth of seven early-bird drawings is Friday, Nov. 30 ... so the sooner players purchase a ticket, the more chances they have to win.
