POWERBALL JACKPOT CLIMBS TO $92 MILLION FOR WEDNESDAY

NASHVILLE - Last night’s Powerball drawing produced 36,502 winners who purchased tickets in Tennessee as the jackpot continues to climb—now estimated at $92 million for Wednesday’s drawing. Of those players, 6,945 tripled their prize by using the Power Play option.



There was no jackpot winner from Friday night’s Lotto 5 drawing, but 38 players won $183 each, while another 1,140 players won $10 each. The Lotto 5 jackpot for Monday’s drawing is estimated at $85,000.

Lotto 5 drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 10:34 p.m. CST (11:34 p.m. EST); Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. CST (10:59 p.m. EST). Watch for both drawings on official Tennessee Lottery television stations throughout the state.



The Tennessee Lottery began selling its first tickets on January 20, 2004.
