For the fifth time in three weeks, a Tennessee Lottery player has become a millionaire, bringing the total number of winning tickets sold worth $1 million or more to 203.
The latest lucky winner purchased a Mega Millions ticket in Lakeland that matched five of six numbers drawn last night, which is a $1 million prize. In addition to that lucky ticket, four other six—and seven—figure prizes have been won since Nov. 22, 2016:
- $1 Million Mega Millions prize won Nov. 22 in LaVergne;
- $420.9 Million Powerball jackpot won Nov. 26 in Lafayette;
- $1 Million Millionaire Jumbo Bucks prize won Nov. 28 in Powell;
- $1 Million Millionaire 7’s prize won Dec. 5 in Maryville.
No additional information about the Lakeland winner is available until the prize is claimed.
