NASHVILLE— The Tennessee Lottery’s “club” of millionaires continues to grow at a fast pace. A player in Madisonville won a $1,447,231 Tennessee Cash jackpot last night, making it the 7th prize of $1 million or more won in just four weeks. A player in Mt. Juliet won a 2nd level prize of $11,095 from the same drawing last night—happy holidays for all!

In addition to last night’s Tennessee Cash jackpot ticket, six additional prizes of $1 million and up have been won since Nov. 22, 2016:

  • $2 Million “Play It Again!” second-chance drawing winner awarded Dec. 21, 2016;
  • $1 Million Mega Millions prize won Dec. 13 in Lakeland;
  • $1 Million Mega Millions prize won Nov. 22 in LaVergne;
  • $420.9 Million Powerball jackpot won Nov. 26 in Lafayette;
  • $1 Million Millionaire Jumbo Bucks prize won Nov. 28 in Powell;
  • $1 Million Millionaire 7’s prize won Dec. 5 in Maryville.

The Lottery has sold 205 winning tickets worth $1 million or more since it began Jan. 20, 2004. No additional details about the Tennessee Cash winner are available until the prize is claimed.

Details about Tennessee Cash:

• Drawings held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at approximately 10:30 p.m. CT/11:30 p.m. ET.

• Ticket cost is $1 per play.

• To play, select any 5 numbers from a field of 1 to 35 and 1 Cash Ball number from a field of 1 to 5. OR, select Quick Pick to have the computer choose the numbers.

• If a play matches any of the 8 winning combinations—it’s a winner!

• Overall odds of winning are 1:7.

• Tennessee Cash prizes are pari-mutuel, except for the free ticket prize for the match 2 of 5 from the field of 1 to 35.
