With the Oct. 28, 2017 final drawing of the jackpot game, Hot Lotto, comes the countdown to the launch of a new jackpot game—Lotto America. And because no one won Hot Lotto’s top prize, the starting Lotto America jackpot on Nov. 12 will be $15 million versus $2 million.

“Players enjoy new games and new options, and providing variety is one of the keys to our success in raising funds for education,” said Rebecca Hargrove, President and CEO of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation. “Lotto America is a fun game that will give players, for just $1, the chance to win a multi-million-dollar jackpot.”

Lotto America, a multi-state game, launches in 13 states on Nov. 12. Jackpots will start at $2 million with the exception of the initial launch amount. There are nine ways to win playing Lotto America, drawings will be held Wednesday and Saturday, and overall odds to win a prize are 1:9.6. For an additional $1 per play, players can purchase the “Lotto America All Star Bonus,” which multiplies any non-jackpot win from two to five times depending on the multiplier number drawn.

In addition to the close of Hot Lotto, yesterday kicked off ticket sales for a new, improved Mega Millions game. Changes include an increased starting jackpot—from $15 million to $40 million—better odds to win a $1 million prize and a $2 ticket price.
