NASHVILLE— A Tennessee Lottery Powerball player in Memphis won $50,000 last night by matching four of five white balls drawn plus the Powerball, making him or her the ninth winner of this prize level in just over a month. Last night’s winner won $50,000 with the number combination, but other winners have multiplied the prize using the “Power Play” option.

There were a total of 17,889 winning Powerball tickets in Tennessee on Wednesday night, and the jackpot has grown to $250 million for Saturday.

No information is available about the winner until the prize is claimed.
