NASHVILLE - Weekend news from the Tennessee Lottery includes thousands of winners in Lotto 5 and Powerball, and jackpots for both games that are on the rise!
Saturday night's Powerball drawing created 36,217 winners and a jackpot of $93 million for Wednesday night's draw. Two tickets purchased in Tennessee from that drawing matched four white ball numbers and the Powerball, which is a $10,000 prize ... however, those tickets also used the Power Play option, which transformed the prizes into $50,000 each!
Friday night's Lotto 5 drawing produced 1,740 winners and a jackpot of $90,000 for Monday night.
