NASHVILLE - Although not the jackpot, five Tennessee Powerball players matched all five white balls correctly to win at least $200,000 in last night's Powerball draw. The winning tickets were purchased in Knoxville, Maryville, Ramer and two in Nashville. One of the Nashville players however, also chose the Power Play option tripling their $200,000 prize to $600,000. No additional information is available about the winners until they claim their prize.
A player in Missouri purchased the winning $254 million Powerball jackpot ticket. In addition to the five second tier prize winners, Tennessee enjoyed another 94,764 winners who purchased tickets from retailers throughout the state. By selecting the Power Play option, 18,786 players multiplied their winnings by three.
