Sherry and her family celebrate the big win with Lottery CEO Rebecca Hargrove!

Sherry Horton of Flintville said she “just felt lucky” after purchasing a “Tennessee Millionaires Club” instant ticket in Fayetteville on Tuesday, Aug. 4. After winning $25 from that ticket, she bought another and won $50. With that, she purchased one more of the same game… and won $1 million!
“I just felt like I was going to win something big,” said Sherry, who teaches science to sixth, seventh and eighth graders at Flintville Elementary School. “And I did!”
Sherry brought several family members with her to Nashville when claiming her prize today. Her final million-dollar ticket was purchased at Kay’s Corner Lottery, 1610 Huntsville Hwy. in Fayetteville.
Sherry is the 10th winner of $1 million from “Tennessee Millionaires Club” and the 43rd winner of $1 million or more since the Tennessee Lottery began selling tickets more than five years ago.
