Saturday night's Powerball drawing created yet another $2 million winner for the week, this time in Jackson. The ticket is the 116th Tennessee Lottery ticket worth $1 million or more since tickets went on sale in January 2004. The lucky Powerball ticket purchased in Jackson matched five numbers drawn in Saturday night's Powerball drawing, which is a guaranteed million-dollar prize--but since the player added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the prize is increased to $2 million. Earlier this week a Powerball player in Mt. Juliet enjoyed the same excitement, matching 5 numbers with the Power Play in Wednesday's drawing. |

Jim Lollar of Chattanooga was thrilled to collect his $1 million POWERBALL prize, won after the drawing held May 18—which was especially exciting due to its record-breaking $590.5 million jackpot. Mr. Lollar, who came to Lottery Headquarters in Nashville today with his father (Jim Lollar Sr. pictured on left in photo), says he is “extremely happy, but dumbfounded.” Mr. Lollar used a “quick pick” (the computer randomly selects numbers for the player) to select his numbers and says he doesn’t play often … “only when the jackpot gets really large.” Congrats to Jim!

Clarksville High School Co-Workers Share $1.1 Million Prize! |

A group of five co-workers at Rossview High School in Clarksville worked all day today while keeping a very big secret: They were winners of $1,109,731 from the Tennessee Lottery’s Tennessee Cash drawing held on April 17.
The excited group of self-proclaimed “hard-working ladies” collected their prize today, which was half of a record-breaking Tennessee Cash jackpot of $2,219,462. The other ticket, sold in Antioch, has not been claimed. The jackpot was split since two tickets matched all six numbers.
