The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation (TEL) has closed its Fiscal Year with an all-time high for sales and proceeds for education. With record gross total sales for the year of $1.73 billion, the TEL will return an all-time high of $421.7 million for all education programs funded by the Lottery, which exceeds the prior year education funding by 9.1 percent.

All told, the Lottery has generated more than $4.6 billion for education in the state since its inception on Jan. 20, 2004.

$718,368 TENNESSEE CASH WINNER IN JONESBOROUGH; $50,000 Powerball Winner in Corryton

A lucky Tennessee Cash player in Jonesborough in Washington County won the $718,368 jackpot Friday night. And a Corryton, Knox County Powerball player won $50,000 Saturday night by matching four of the five white numbers drawn plus the red Powerball.

Maryville Father & Son Claim $1 Million Powerball Prize

After checking his Powerball numbers against those drawn on June 30, 2018, Jack Canfield of Maryville knew he had won a prize, but he wasn’t sure how much. He immediately called his son Todd, who did a quick internet search to find out. The result? A cool one-million dollars.

This very lucky Camden winner smiled “till her face cracked” after winning the Cash 4 Life jackpot of $1,000 a day for life on June 21, 2018. Who can blame her? After getting numbers from a quick pick Cash 4 Life play a couple years ago, she kept playing those same numbers because they had special meaning. The winning ticket was purchased at Pockets on Hwy. 641.

Camden Player Wins $1,000 a Day for Life!

Just imagine: $1,000 a day … for life! That’s what a lucky “Cash 4 Life” player in Camden won last night, making them the first jackpot winner of that game in Tennessee. The unique prize is paid in annual installments for the winner’s lifetime.

$100,000 Powerball Winners in Knoxville & Nashville

Mark Davis arrived bright and early today at the Tennessee Lottery’s Knoxville claim office to collect the $100,000 prize he won last night playing Powerball. The Knoxville plumber was one of two lucky winners who won $100,000 each by matching four of the five white ball numbers drawn plus the red Powerball. 


Shelbyville Cabinet Maker Wins $2 Million

Twice was nice for a lucky Shelbyville man, who won big the second time he played Powerball. Matthew Reed, a cabinet maker, won a cool $2 million Saturday, June 16, 2018, playing the popular game.

Powerball player in Shelbyville won a cool $2 Million on June 16, 2018, by matching all five white numbers drawn. And since the lucky player added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the prize was doubled. 

$150,000 Powerball Winner in Clinton

Congrats to a lucky Tennessee Lottery Powerball player in Clinton, who won $150,000 last night by matching four of the white ball numbers drawn plus the Powerball. The base prize for that prize level is $50,000, but since the Clinton winner added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the prize was multiplied by last night’s multiplier, which was 3. Jake Haight of Old Hickory is ready to hit the road this summer after winning a 2018 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4x4 from the Tennessee Education Lottery. 

“I’m so excited, you have no idea,” said Jake, a carpenter whose primary vehicle is—was—a work truck. “I think I’ll visit family in Pennsylvania,” he said. Jake picked up the Jeep® today at Rockie Williams’ Premier Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Mt. Juliet.

A lucky Tennessee Cash player in South Pittsburg won a near-record jackpot of $2,060,705 Friday night. And a Knoxville Powerball player won $50,000 Saturday night by matching four of the five white numbers drawn plus the red Powerball.

The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation has again set records for sales as it closes out its third quarter of Fiscal Year 2018. Additionally, gross sales since the beginning of Fiscal Year 2018, which began on July 1, 2017, are 9 percent ahead of the same time period last year.

The third quarter’s $107.3 million transfer to the Lottery for Education Account is the second highest of any quarter since the Lottery began selling tickets on January 20, 2004, and brings the total amount generated for education to more than $4.5 billion.

14 Tennesseans Win Over $3.6 Million from Non-Winning Instant Lottery Tickets

The Tennessee Lottery’s “Play It Again!” program awarded more than $3.6 million to 14 lucky Tennesseans this week, with prizes ranging from $1,000 to $2 million. Players win by entering non-winning instant tickets online, and most can’t believe they’ve won when notified that their entry had been drawn. A lesson in water sports could be in the near future for Kurtis Harshaw of Cunningham, who won a Stingray 225CR Boat from a Tennessee Education Lottery “VIP Rewards Drawing.” The boat, delivered over the weekend, will be a sporty second for Kurtis, whose family has a relaxed-pace pontoon boat they enjoy riding on the Cumberland River.


$1.23 Million Tennessee Cash Jackpot Winner in Chattanooga

$1 Million Red Boiling Springs Winner is a First-Time Mega Millions Player; Lottery’s 227th Winner of $1 Million or More

A Red Boiling Springs man decided to purchase a Mega Millions ticket for the first time this week and became a millionaire overnight. Before dawn, Jimmy Morgan checked his ticket against the winning Mega Millions numbers drawn January 5 and realized he matched all five white balls (without the Mega Ball). Once he rubbed his eyes and checked again, he woke his wife in disbelief. After the two triple-checked that the ticket was a winner, an early-morning celebration began.

The weekend’s mega-jackpot drawings culminated in big wins all around, with a lucky Tennessee Mega Millions player in Red Boiling Springs winning $1 million on Jan. 5, 2018, and Powerball players in Eagleville and Lakeland winning $150,000 and $50,000 respectively on Jan. 6, 2018.

The jackpots for both games were won—the $570 million Powerball jackpot in New Hampshire and the $450 million Mega Millions jackpot in Florida. 


The New Year has started with a bang for Tennessee Lottery Powerball players! Last night’s drawing created 61,741 winning tickets in the state, including a $150,000 winner in Memphis and winners in Nashville and Covington of $50,000 each.

Powerball Jackpot Increased to $460 Million; Mega Millions Jackpot is at $418 Million

An estimated total of $878 million is up for grabs this week in the popular games of Powerball and Mega Millions. In fact, the Powerball jackpot was increased this morning to $460 million for tonight’s drawing, and the Mega Millions jackpot stands at $418 million for Friday night.


The Powerball jackpot ranks as the 7th largest in the game’s history. The jackpot for Mega Millions is that game’s 4th largest.
